Full-time temporary 12-month Teacher's Aid position at Cochrane Child Care Centre to assist staff in supervising children and implementing day-to-day childcare activities according to the Centre's philosophy and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of children in daily routine
Establish and maintain positive communication with children, families, staff and community
Assist in planning and implementation of childcare program under direction of Teacher
Maintain professional attitude, loyalty, and confidentiality
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs as required

Qualifications

Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Criminal Reference Check required
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
CPR, First Aid and WHMIS training are assets

Position Details

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Position: Full-time temporary 12-month Maternity Leave with possibility of extension to 18 months

Location: Cochrane, Ontario
