About this Role

Full-time permanent Teacher's Aid position at Cochrane Child Care Centre to assist staff in supervising children and implementing day-to-day childcare activities following the Centre's philosophy and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of children in daily routines
  • Establish and maintain positive communication with children, families, staff and community
  • Assist in planning and implementation of programs and childcare environment

Qualifications

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Criminal Reference Check required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • CPR, First Aid and WHMIS training are definite assets
