About this Role
The Town of Cochrane seeks a Water and Wastewater Operator to manage water treatment, wastewater treatment, and distribution/collection systems. The successful candidate will ensure safe and compliant delivery of water and wastewater services and work on a rotation basis.

Qualifications
Valid Water Treatment Class 3, Water Distribution Class 1, Wastewater Treatment Class 2, and Wastewater Collection Class 2 (or higher classes may be considered)
Valid Chlorine handling certificate
Working knowledge of SCADA and Alarm Dialer systems
Valid Class D license with Z endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire with valid Class G license
Ability to read and understand relevant legislation including Hours of Work, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Highway Traffic Act, and Municipal policies
