About this Role
Full-time Manager of Strategic Initiatives position reporting to the Director of Corporate Strategy/Treasurer. Responsible for project management and coordination of cross-departmental strategic initiatives, continuous improvement, grant administration, and oversight of the economic development department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of project management and coordination of corporate, departmental, or divisional projects with cross-departmental or strategic scope
Support continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness, and capacity building
Oversee grant application and reporting process
Oversee the economic development department
Develop departmental strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with the Town's Strategic Plan
Qualifications
Four-year university degree in Business, Public Administration or related programs
Minimum 5-7 years related experience
Experience in leadership and management of complex strategic projects and multi-disciplinary teams
Thorough understanding of municipal government structure, programs, services, priorities and stakeholders
Proven ability in leadership, strategic thinking, designing/implementing change and achieving performance objectives
Position Details
Full-time position
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, may be required to work additional hours
