Temporary part-time cashier position reporting to the Program Coordinator, responsible for receiving payments for recreation programs and services, handling cash transactions, and providing customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Cash handling: accept payments via cash, debit, and credit
Balance till, coin order float, and reconcile cash at end of shift
Answer in-person and phone customer service inquiries about recreation programs and services
Open and close reception area
Complete accident, incident, or complaint inquiry forms and report to Program Coordinator
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 11 education
Current Intermediate/Standard First Aid/CPR 'C' qualifications
Previous experience with cash control and reconciliation preferred
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Position Details
Up to 24 weekly hours
