Temporary part-time program monitor to supervise and assist with delivery of recreation programs and birthday parties for the City of Oshawa. Reports to Program Coordinator and requires first aid certification and ability to work flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor participants during drop-in programs and birthday parties
Assist with delivery of program content
Administer first aid as required
Complete Public Accident/Incident Reports or Complaint/Inquiry Forms and report to Program Coordinator
Open and close program space; setup and take-down equipment; perform safety checks
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 10 education
Intermediate/Standard First Aid/CPR 'C' qualifications (current)
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in team environment and independently
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
