Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department
Ensure clinical continuity and compliance with applicable legislation
Support management of resident care and nursing services
Assume Director of Resident Care management responsibilities when Director is absent
Take overall operational responsibility for the home when both Director and Administrator are absent
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and/or Diploma in Nursing
Registered Nurse with current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario with no restrictions
Minimum of five years experience in a nursing managerial role, preferably in long-term care
Long-term care experience
Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening satisfactory to the County of Middlesex
