The Township of St. Clair seeks four casual operators for the Community Services Department to perform day-to-day operation, general maintenance, and repair of municipal facilities including pools, parks, and ice surfaces under the Coordinator of Parks & Recreation.
Key Responsibilities
General and preventative maintenance of Township pools, parks, ice surfaces, and operations equipment
Operate ice resurfacing equipment
Inspect and manage logs of the refrigeration plant
Cleaning of dressing rooms, lobbies, halls, stairwells, rinks, parking lots, offices, concession booths, windows, and facility areas
Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma
Valid Class G Ontario driver's license
Preference for 4th Class Operating Engineer Certificate or Class B Refrigeration Operator Certificate
ORFA Certified Ice Technician status preferred
Knowledge of HVAC systems and valid non-expired First Aid & CPR certificate preferred
