The Township of Wilmot seeks enthusiastic and reliable individuals to serve as Election Officials for the 2026 Municipal Election, including Ballot Box Managers, Deputy Returning Officers, Greeters, and Kiosk Election Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and directing voters
Processing electors and issuing ballots
Assisting voters with voting equipment and electronic voting kiosks
Operating voting equipment and completing election documentation
Securing ballots and maintaining integrity of election materials
Qualifications
At least 16 years of age by Election Day
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Available for mandatory training and Election Day
Comfortable using computers and other technology
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
