Key Responsibilities
Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated crosswalks
Assist pedestrians in crossing roadways safely using stop paddle and hand signals
Ensure all pedestrians have safely crossed before allowing traffic to proceed
Remain alert and monitor traffic, pedestrians, and conditions for safety hazards
Report accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions to supervisor
Qualifications
One to two years of related experience preferred
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
Ability to interact professionally with children, parents, and public
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
