Key Responsibilities

  • Track, receive, issue and store weapons and police equipment

Qualifications

  • Completion of grade 12, supplemented by courses related to the work, plus sound related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Sound knowledge of various types and use of weapons and police equipment required by RCMP members
  • Knowledge of safety regulations for handling weapons and police equipment
  • Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

Position Details

Schedule: 70 hours bi-weekly; Wednesday to Sunday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (or by mutual agreement Monday to Sunday 4:30 AM – 8:00 PM)
Regular Full Time position
Subject to Note 'S' of Schedule 'B' of CUPE 23 Inside Division Collective Agreement
BC Driver's Licence required
Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance required
