Full-time permanent mechanic position reporting to the Public Works Supervisor, responsible for inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of the Town's municipal vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and reliable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of Town vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, and tools
Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
Diagnose equipment issues and complete required repairs
Maintain maintenance records and shop inventory
Participate in emergency repairs and after-hours callouts as required
Qualifications
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
Experience maintaining and repairing vehicles and heavy equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
