The City of Beaumont is hiring two Labourers for a term position (November 4, 2026 – April 16, 2027) to maintain municipal roads, trails, parking lots, and drainage systems. The role focuses on snow removal and equipment operation, reporting to the Team Leads for Roads & Drainage and Parks.
Key Responsibilities
Operate snow moving equipment including skid steers, tool cats, brooms, blades, tractors, blowers, and sanders
Complete daily inspections and work orders through Cityworks software
Perform snow and ice control, removal, and sanding on sidewalks, trails, and parking lots
Maintain equipment and collect/dispose of garbage and litter
Report unsafe conditions and near miss incidents promptly
