Key Responsibilities

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, supplemented by culturally relevant work or related experience
Experience delivering education programs or familiarity working with groups
Knowledge of local Indigenous Nations and Coast Salish History and Culture
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and visitors

Position Details

Location: Burnaby Village Museum

Auxiliary position; hours based on operational requirements with no guaranteed hours

Typical shifts: 2–4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Availability includes weekdays, weekends, and occasionally evenings

Season: late November to early January, and May through early September
