Part-time Assistant Instructor for Aquatics programs at City of Woodstock, reporting to the Manager of Aquatics and Recreation Programs. Assists in delivering Lifesaving Society Swim programs and supports instructors with lesson delivery, candidate evaluation, and pool/deck setup.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in instruction of Lifesaving Society Swim programs (Preschool, Parent and Tot, Youth and Adult)
Assist instructor in delivery of swim lessons
Assist in evaluating candidates
Assist with questions and concerns from parents
Help set up and clean deck and pool before and after instruction periods
Qualifications
Lifesaving Assistant Water Safety Instructor Certificate
Bronze Cross Certificate or National Lifeguard
Standard First Aid and CPR-C
Excellent physical condition
Ability to pleasantly deal with the public
