Contract instructor role delivering Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) instruction to community participants of all ages at Barnet Beach. Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality SUP instruction in accordance with City policies and safety standards
Manage participants and address safety site concerns
Prepare programs and complete incident and attendance reporting
Lead group and semi-private lessons for youth and adult participants

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in outdoor recreation programs and instruction
18 years or older
Paddle Canada Instructor Course Basic and/or Advanced Flatwater Instructor training
Paddle Canada Advanced SUP Skills Course or equivalent
Minimum Emergency First Aid with CPR-C (Wilderness First Aid or equivalent 20+ hour First Aid with CPR Level C highly preferred)
