Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, analyses, and supporting documentation
Assist with annual budget preparation and year-end audit processes
Prepare government funding claims and compliance reports
Support procurement activities by reviewing financial components of tenders
Complete payroll reconciliations, pension reporting, and other financial working papers
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum five years of progressively responsible accounting experience in a large organization or public sector environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and audit preparation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with enterprise accounting software
CPA designation preferred but not required
