Key Responsibilities
Operate graders, backhoes, trucks, snowplows, mowers, and other heavy machinery
Perform year-round maintenance on roads, equipment, and municipal buildings
Respond to emergency situations including severe storms and road blockages
Complete written reports on roadwork and daily equipment logs
Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist with water/wastewater/stormwater system maintenance
Qualifications
High School diploma
Minimum one-year road-related program or equivalent combination of courses and experience
Significant relevant experience operating heavy equipment and snowplowing
Valid Ontario DZ class Driver's License (Class AZ an asset)
Bilingual: good oral and written communication in English and French
